Planet Hollywood, the iconic five-star hotel in Hiranandani Estate, Thane, proudly announces the grand opening of its newest fine-dining restaurant, Banaraas. Launching on 10th September 2025, Banaraas is more than a restaurant, it is a journey that celebrates India’s rich culinary tradition while presenting it with a contemporary touch.
Rooted in the timeless soul of Varanasi, Banaraas draws inspiration from the royal kitchens of Awadh, the fiery flavors of Purvanchal, the smoky allure of Rajasthan, and the delicate richness of Kashmir. The menu showcases an exquisite selection of classics such as Aloo Bhukhara Kofta, Awadhi Beter Biryani, Bhatti Ka Kalmi, Biscoff Kaju Katli etc each reinterpreted with finesse to suit the modern palate.
“With Banaraas, we wanted to create more than just a fine-dining venue; we envisioned a culinary narrative. Every plate tells a story of India’s traditions, retold with a modern voice for today’s discerning guests. Indian cuisine is a legacy diverse, layered, and timeless.
