Mövenpick Hotel Beirut is pleased to announce the appointment of Cynthia Flouty as the new Director of Operations, bringing with her over 20 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry.
Cynthia has held senior positions across renowned hotel groups such as Le Méridien, Beirut Marriott, IHG Hotels with Crowne Plaza, and played a key role in the reopening of the Phoenicia Hotel after the Beirut port explosion. Her impressive career also includes valuable contributions to Mövenpick Beirut in the past, making her return a natural fit for the property.
With a strong commercial background and cross-operational exposure in both Jordan and Lebanon, Cynthia combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational expertise. She holds a BA in Hospitality Management, further complementing her professional achievements.
Outside of work, Cynthia is passionate about basketball, skiing, and travel, pursuits that reflect her energetic and dynamic personality.
Speaking about her new role, Cynthia shared: “Hospitality isn’t about today’s service. It’s about seeing the bigger picture and building moments that last for both guests and teams.”
