Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Stefan Masche as the property’s new General Manager.

Bringing more than 20 years of international luxury hospitality experience, Mr. Masche returns to Kempinski with a distinguished track record in operational excellence, culinary leadership, and guest‑centric innovation. Over the past decade, he has held several senior leadership roles with Emaar Hospitality Group in Dubai, most recently serving as General Manager of Palace Downtown Dubai, where he consistently delivered elevated service standards and strong commercial performance.
Mr. Masche’s career also includes a pivotal tenure at Armani Hotel Dubai, where he played a key role in leading Armani/Ristorante to earn its first Michelin Star as well as three Gault & Millau toques—testament to his passion for exceptional food and beverage experiences.
His connection to Kempinski is a meaningful one. Earlier in his career, he held positions at both Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich and Kempinski Hotel Adlon Berlin, making his return to the brand a homecoming grounded in heritage and shared values.
As he steps into his new role at Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski, Mr. Masche brings a clear vision, inspiring leadership style, and a commitment to excellence. He will guide the hotel into its next chapter—further enriching guest experiences and strengthening its position as one of Cairo’s leading luxury destinations.
