This July, Inhabit Hotels invites you to step into a space of stillness, insight and inspiration with a special guest: Joseph Emmet, senior disciple of Swami A. Parthasarathy and Director of Vedanta Institute Houston. In a rare opportunity to engage directly with a world-renowned teacher of Eastern wisdom, Joseph will lead a series of transformative talks rooted in the ancient Indian philosophy of Vedanta. These complimentary sessions, open to guests and the local community alike, will take place within Inhabit's serene urban sanctuary on Southwick Street, Paddington, throughout July. A distinguished alumnus of the Vedanta Academy and respected speaker worldwide, Joseph brings over two decades of study and teaching, offering practical tools for inner balance, clarity and meaningful living, all to be shared within the heart of Inhabit’s restorative haven.

What is Vedanta?
The term Vedanta comes from the Sanskrit words veda, “knowledge”, and anta, “end” or “culmination”, thus Vedanta means the culmination of knowledge. It is an ancient and universal philosophy that addresses life’s fundamental questions through logical, timeless truths. Vedanta guides both physical and spiritual well-being by combining thoughtful action with inner peace and teaches the art of relating wisely to the word, whether in relationships or work. It cultivates the intellect, helping individuals make clear, wise decisions which ultimately lead to self-realisation and lasting contentment. Ultimately, Vedanta is a practical guide on how to live a happier and more harmonious life.
A Higher Approach to Wellness
Throughout the series, guests will be invited to go beyond typical wellness offerings and explore the intellectual dimensions of wellbeing, engaging in powerful inner dialogue guided by a teacher who has spent decades teaching people to master the art of living. The series will include:
