Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center is thrilled to announce Emilio Fortini as the new General Manager of Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center. With a rich international background and extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Emilio brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our team.

Born in Belgium and raised in Italy, Emilio has lived and worked across the globe, including Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Fiji, New Zealand, the Maldives, and Bali. His journey began while studying a combined Law and Science degree, working in bars and restaurants to support himself. This sparked his passion for hospitality, leading him to earn a degree in Hospitality Management from the esteemed École hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.
Emilio's career path has seen him rise through the ranks from Restaurant Manager to General Manager, with roles in various prestigious hotels and resorts. He has spent significant time with Rydges Hotels & Resorts in Australia and Rendezvous Hospitality Group, where he contributed greatly as both General Manager and Senior Vice President of Operations. His remarkable journey also includes managing exclusive resorts, such as Lizard Island at the Great Barrier Reef, and leading the Sheraton Full Moon Resort & SPA in the Maldives. Most recently, he oversaw operations at Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua before arriving in Vietnam.
Emilio is excited to immerse himself in the vibrant culture, rich history, and exquisite cuisine of Vietnam, particularly in Da Nang, a city he believes is poised for significant tourism growth. He looks forward to sharing authentic local experiences with guests and enhancing their stay at our resort. With a commitment to excellence and a belief that evolution in hospitality is essential, Emilio is eager to lead the Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center into a new era of success.
