JW Marriott Las Vegas and Rampart Casino Announce Property-Wide Rebrand, Officially Becoming The Resort at Summerlin

JW Marriott Las Vegas and Rampart Casino today announced a property-wide rebrand, officially uniting the celebrated resort and casino under a new identity, The Resort at Summerlin. Effective January 1, 2026, the rebrand marks a significant milestone in the property's ongoing $75 million, multi-year renovation and its evolution as a premier luxury destination in the heart of Summerlin.

The extensive renovation reflects a renewed focus on mindful luxury, well-being, and elevated guest experience, while honoring the property's longstanding legacy among Las Vegas locals and visitors alike. The transformation blends the resort's signature Mediterranean architecture with modern design elements, creating a refreshed, contemporary aesthetic defined by grand archways, expansive open spaces, and abundant natural light. Designed to empower personal happiness, connection, and rejuvenation, The Resort at Summerlin aims to provide uplifting hospitality and playful experiences that enable guests to follow their bliss without limits.

"Over the past 18 months, we've completed a significant renovation designed to revitalize and refresh the property while elevating the overall guest experience," said Michelle McHugh, Vice President and General Manager of The Resort at Summerlin. "This transformation represents a strategic investment in the future of the resort, continuing its evolution as a premier luxury destination in Las Vegas and strengthening its role as a welcoming hub for both the Summerlin community and visitors alike."

Since its opening in 1999, the property has spent 26 years at the heart of the community, serving as a destination for excitement, relaxation, and connection for generations of local guests and visitors alike. From the very beginning, it was envisioned as more than a casino - it was designed to be a true resort experience for Summerlin. Today, with the completion of its most significant renovation, the property is proud to return to its original name - The Resort at Summerlin.

This return is more than a name change. It is a reaffirmation of what the property has always represented and an expression of what it has become. A fully integrated resort campus offering world-class gaming, dining, spa and wellness, pools, events, and more, thoughtfully designed to deliver an elevated destination experience for both locals and travelers in the heart of Summerlin.

Elevated Accommodations & Resort Enhancements

The Resort at Summerlin's newly renovated guest rooms feature 560 square feet of thoughtfully designed space, complete with elevated residential-style furnishings, dining tables, couches, ceiling fans, 65-inch smart TVs, and coffee machines. A desert-inspired color palette evokes a sense of calm and serenity, while bold textures and subtle metallic accents draw inspiration from the surrounding landscape.

Of the resort's 549 guestrooms, 98 offer walk-out or Juliette balconies, and 11 guestrooms and suites feature walk-out terraces, inviting guests to fully immerse themselves in the tranquility of the resort's lush gardens, waterfalls, and koi ponds.

Additional recent renovations include a refreshed Conference Center, a renovated fitness center, a new Hydra Lounge relaxation area, and upgraded treatment rooms at the world-class Spa Aquae. The casino floor has also been enhanced with new lighting, carpet, finishes, and the addition of new High Limit Rooms featuring cutting-edge gaming technology, sophisticated bar experience, and personalized service.

The Neighborhood Food Hall

New dining concepts debuting in 2025 include ai Pazzi, ai Pazzi Pizza, and Pearls Oyster & Crudo Bar from celebrity chef Fabio Viviani; Nom Wah, the first West Coast location of New York City's oldest dim sum restaurant; and Wineaux, the Summerlin outpost from James Beard Award winner Shawn McClain and master sommelier Nick Hetzel. With two additional concepts slated to open in early 2026, The Neighborhood Food Hall will join the likes of property-favorites Hawthorn Grill, Jade Asian Kitchen & Noodles, Market Place Buffet, and more, to further establish itself as the social and culinary heart of The Resort at Summerlin, with offerings spanning a range of tastes and price points.

Caesars Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin

Announced in late 2025, The Resort at Summerlin has partnered with Caesars Entertainment, Inc. to open a new Caesars Sportsbook inside the property. Targeting an opening in early 2026, the new Caesars Sportsbook will deliver an elevated sports wagering experience to the Summerlin community with market-leading technology.

The new Caesars Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin will be located on the casino floor in the space currently occupied by the property's existing sportsbook, with convenient access to parking. As part of the upgrade, guests can also expect an enhanced sports viewing experience with a new video wall and a cutting-edge 360-degree LED video display at the sportsbook bar, designed to provide the ultimate game-day experience. Additionally, 20 Caesars Sportsbook self-service betting kiosks will be available inside the sportsbook and throughout the casino, giving guests access to thousands of betting markets, mirroring the options available on the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app.

The renovation has been led by FRANK Architecture and Interiors, with Trident, a Las Vegas-based general contractor and construction management company, overseeing construction. Additional renovation plans, including a refreshed and renovated property pool, will continue through 2026.
