JW Marriott Hotel Tashkent is excited to announce the appointment of Ilkin Imanov as General Manager.

Ilkin brings over 20 years of global hospitality experience, having held on-property and corporate leadership roles across Baku, Russia, Germany, Malaysia, Turkey, Greece, and most recently, Doha—where he served as the General Manager of The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa and Chairman of the Qatar Marriott Business Council.
His dedication to excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including “The Best General Manager Country Winner Qatar” at the 2024 World Luxury Hotel Awards.
Ilkin holds an MBA in Hospitality Management from Euclea Business School (France) and a Bachelor from Azerbaijan State Languages University. He is fluent in English, Azerbaijan, Turkish, and Russian languages.
Set to open in late 2025, JW Marriott Tashkent will offer 287 luxurious rooms and suites, signature dining, Spa, JW Garden, and state-of-the-art event spaces—bringing the brand’s philosophy of mindful luxury to the heart of Central Asia.
