Bhaya Cruises is proud to announce that Bhaya Soul, its new luxury wellness cruise, has officially joined Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) the internationally recognised portfolio of more than 700 independently owned boutique hotels across more than 100 countries.

The recognition marks an important milestone for Bhaya Soul, which is redefining the traditional Ha Long Bay cruise through an intimate combination of boutique design, Vietnamese hospitality, restorative wellness and immersive journeys through the region's spectacular seascapes.

Designed as the first wellness inclusive cruise in Ha Long Bay, Bhaya Soul features just 20 spacious suites, each with a private balcony and sun loungers, creating an intimate floating retreat from which to explore Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. The cruise follows quieter routes through the two bays, while onboard experiences are designed around slowing down, reconnecting and restoring mind and body.

Wellness is woven throughout the Bhaya Soul experience, with a thoughtfully curated programme complemented by fine dining featuring fresh, local ingredients. Rather than treating wellness as a standalone spa experience, Bhaya Soul integrates it into the rhythm of the journey, from the tranquil surroundings and considered design to nourishing cuisine and opportunities to reconnect with nature.

“Joining Small Luxury Hotels of the World is a very meaningful milestone for Bhaya Soul and for everyone who has been part of bringing this vision to life,” said Mr Nam Tran, CEO and Founder of Bhaya Cruises. “We wanted to create something different on Ha Long Bay – a place where guests can experience the beauty of the bay while also having the space to slow down, reconnect and restore. SLH recognises independent properties with a strong sense of place and individuality, and we are very proud that Bhaya Soul now belongs to this community.”

“We're always looking to enrich the SLH portfolio with soulful, characterful stays and Bhaya Soul is in a class of its own.  It marks our very first luxury boat offering in Asia Pacific, joining a select group of four other immersive water experiences within our global portfolio” said Mark Wong, Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Bhaya Soul's membership also creates a natural connection with Namia River Retreat  in Hoi An which is already a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Together, the two offer travellers the opportunity to combine two distinct Vietnamese wellness experiences, from the waters of Ha Long Bay to the Thu Bon River in Hoi An. Bhaya Cruises has introduced multi destination wellness journeys that connect the two properties as part of a broader approach to restorative travel in Vietnam.

Small Luxury Hotels of the World champions independently minded hotels that offer distinctive experiences, personal hospitality and a strong connection to their destination. Its collection includes a growing selection of luxury boat hotels, reflecting the organisation's recognition of intimate, immersive stays that allow travellers to experience destinations from a different perspective.

For Bhaya Cruises, the addition of Bhaya Soul to the SLH collection represents a new chapter in its ongoing commitment to creating distinctive ways for travellers to experience Vietnam's natural and cultural heritage.
